Three-story Southeast Asian restaurant and lounge in Brickell
Komodo sits at 801 Brickell Avenue, a three-story stage in the middle of Brickell's financial district. It pairs a full restaurant with a lounge under one roof, and it fits date nights that want momentum, celebration dinners, and business tables that expect to be seen.
The cooking is bold Southeast Asian with global influences, served across 300 seats of tabletops, booths, and bar areas. A sleek wood-paneled interior opens onto a lush covered terrace, and outside, the venue's floating aeries hold more intimate tables beneath lantern-lit trees.
The headline dish is the Peking duck, served with cucumber, scallion, hoisin, and pancakes. Around it sit a full sushi bar, dim sum such as shrimp shumai and the gold-leaf Money Bag dumplings with pork, shrimp, and tobiko, Chinese pork ribs with char siu, and a wagyu fried rice with XO. Miso Chilean sea bass and a whole Maine lobster with shiso butter round out the larger plates.
Komodo serves dinner seven days a week. Book an earlier seating if you want to hear the table, or a later one for the lounge crossover. The dress code rules out athletic wear, shorts, tank tops, athletic or beverage-branded caps, and flip-flops or sandals.
