How much is a table at Tao Las Vegas? On Tao's own booking calendar, a table at The Venetian costs from $1,000 to $2,000 before tax, the venue fee and gratuity. The Dance Floor tables, priced for up to 10 guests, are $2,000 on every date on the calendar. The least expensive tables are the Standard and the Small 1st Tier Prime, from $1,000. Tax, the venue fee and gratuity add about 40 percent on top.

Why we wrote this guide
Tao opened at The Venetian in September 2005 and turned twenty in 2025, which makes it one of the longest-running nightclubs in Las Vegas. It sits directly above TAO Asian Bistro, and the room is layered: a catwalk runs through the middle, a moat of tables sits at the center, eight private skyboxes look down over the main room, and a 40-foot terrace looks out over the Strip.
Tao is also easy to price. Each of its four table types was the same price on every date we checked on its booking calendar, from $1,000 to $2,000. This guide covers the four, what the bill comes to once the venue fee, tax and gratuity land, and how to pick the night.

The all-in cost math at Tao
The bill at Tao breaks into four parts. Your quoted minimum is the first line; the venue fee, gratuity, and sales tax land on top:
- Minimum spend on the table
- 14 percent venue fee added on top of the minimum
- 20 percent gratuity for your server and bottle hostess
- 8.375 percent Clark County sales tax applied to the minimum plus the venue fee (the sales tax stacks on the subtotal that already includes the venue fee, which is the line item most independent hosts miss)
Worked example for a $1,000 minimum at Tao:
- Minimum: $1,000
- Venue fee (14 percent): $140
- Subtotal: $1,140
- Sales tax (8.375 percent of $1,140): $95.48
- Gratuity (20 percent of the minimum): $200
- All-in total: $1,435.48
That works out to roughly 1.43x to 1.44x the quoted minimum, or about 43.6 percent on top. The top of Tao's range, a $2,000 Dance Floor table, lands at about $2,871.
Tao's tables, room by room
Tao sells 4 table types on its own booking calendar. Each has its own page with the range and what it holds.
Dance Floor, priced for up to 10 guests. DanceFloor tables are best tables in the venue and located in the main room on the DanceFloor of TAO Nightclub. Minimum: $2,000 on every date on the calendar.
Prime, priced for up to 10 guests. Prime tables the most centralized option are located in the "VIP Moat" section of Tao Nightclub. Minimum: $1,500 on every date on the calendar.
Standard, priced for up to 10 guests. Standard tables are located in the Upper and Lower Skyboxes of the main room at Tao Nightclub. Minimum: $1,000 on every date on the calendar.
Small 1st Tier Prime, priced for up to 4 guests. Small 1st Tier Prime are smaller table options located in the prime sections of the main room. Minimum: $1,000 on every date on the calendar.
Tao's week and the 2026 calendar
Doors open at 10:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday: Worship Thursdays, hip-hop and top 40 on Friday and Saturday, and Ritual Sundays, where DJ Franzen is the regular. Ying Yang Twins have New Year's Eve. The Tao venue page carries the upcoming dates.
Because Tao prices each table the same across its calendar, a big name changes how fast the tables sell rather than the minimum. The Dance Floor tables go first on a Saturday, so book those early.
Race week, New Year's Eve and the big weekends
Race week, New Year's Eve and the big fight weekends are the dates most likely to be priced differently from the rest of the calendar, and Tao sets those per date. We quote the number for your date in writing.

How to get the best table at Tao
A few patterns from booking Tao through MyRSVP:
Skyboxes for a celebration. The Standard tables include the skybox tables that look down over the main room, at $1,000 for up to 10 guests. A birthday group gets the whole room in view and a table that is easy to gather around.
The moat for the middle of the room. The Prime tables sit in the moat at the center, where the energy is, at $1,500 for up to 10.
A small table for a small group. The Small 1st Tier Prime holds up to 4 guests at $1,000.
Dinner downstairs. TAO Asian Bistro is directly below the club, and the dinner and nightlife package walks guests from the dining room up to the club. Bazaar Meat, BOA and COTE are also in the Venetian and Palazzo complex.

Because the venue fee, gratuity and sales tax stack on top. Use 1.43x to 1.44x as the conversion from quoted minimum to all-in: a $1,500 minimum is about $2,153 all in.
What is the least expensive table at Tao?
The Standard and the Small 1st Tier Prime, both $1,000, which is about $1,436 all in. The Standard holds up to 10 guests and the Small 1st Tier Prime up to 4.
What is a skybox at Tao?
Tao has eight private skyboxes that look down over the main room. The Standard tables, at $1,000 for up to 10 guests, include the skybox tables.
Does the price change by night?
On the dates we checked, no: each table type was the same price on every night of Tao's calendar. Race week and New Year's Eve are the dates most likely to be set differently, and we quote those in writing.
Who plays Tao?
Hip-hop and top 40 most nights, Worship Thursdays, and Ritual Sundays with DJ Franzen as the regular.
Do prices change close to the date?
Tao sets its own minimums and can move them as a date fills. We quote the minimum for your night in writing before you pay the deposit.

How far in advance should I book Tao?
For a Thursday or Sunday, a few days is usually enough. For a Saturday, race week or New Year's Eve, book as soon as you have the date, because the Dance Floor tables go first.
