Orsa & Winston is chef Josef Centeno's tasting-menu restaurant at 122 West 4th Street in downtown Los Angeles, and it holds one MICHELIN star in the 2026 California selection, which records the cuisine as contemporary and Asian. The Los Angeles Times named it restaurant of the year in 2020. The name belongs to two little dogs.
Dinner is a five-course omakase at $150 per person, with an optional beverage pairing at $85 drawn from beer, wine and sake. The restaurant seats by reservation only, across two seatings each evening, and the menu changes daily, so the courses follow the day's cooking rather than a printed list.
Centeno builds that menu on Italian and Japanese flavors, connected, in the restaurant's own words, by Centeno's own creativity. The kitchen works predominantly with seafood and vegetables, and the menu is pescatarian throughout, which keeps the five courses on fish, shellfish and produce.
The restaurant runs Tuesday through Saturday, with seatings from 5:00 pm and the last at 8:00 pm. Reservations for parties of up to four open three months in advance, a credit card is taken at booking, and the full menu price is charged for a cancellation inside 24 hours.
