A warehouse ode to Colombia's culinary regions
Herbario was doing serious Colombian cocina de autor in El Poblado before most of its neighbors existed, and it still holds up. The kitchen organizes its menu around the country's biogeographic regions, moving from Pacific coast to Andean highland, so a meal here doubles as a quiet tour of Colombia.
The room is a converted warehouse two blocks below Parque del Poblado - high, warm and unfussy, the kind of space that lets the plates and the crowd carry the night rather than the decor. There is a proper cocktail program, a curated wine list and coffee roasted in house.
It also runs one of the better vegetarian tracks in the neighborhood, so a mixed table is easy to please without anyone settling.
