Tropicana is the beach club on Paradise Beach, about 6 km from Mykonos Town on the island's south coast, and it has been throwing parties on the sand since 1992. It works as a bar on the beach that turns into a dance floor every afternoon, and that daily switch is the reason people come.
From 10 AM it runs as a normal beach club: rows of sunbeds and umbrellas, cabanas, attentive beachside service and direct access to clear water. The open-air beach bar pours signature cocktails, premium spirits and chilled wines through the day, and the restaurant moves from coffee, fresh juices and light bites in the morning to snacks and light dishes that can be eaten without leaving the sunbed. Jet skiing, tubing, water skiing and scuba diving are all available along Paradise Beach.
The tempo rises at 4:30 PM. DJs and MCs take over, the sound system and light shows push the beach into full party mode, and champagne showers and performances follow. Most days carry a themed party on the calendar, such as Champagne Showers on Wednesdays and Thirsty Thursdays, and on days without a special event the resident DJs keep it going. The party runs until 1 AM.
