The Nammos restaurant sits right on the sand at Psarou Beach, a five-minute drive south of Mykonos Town, with its tables looking out over a bay dotted with yachts. It has been part of Psarou since 2003. By day the beach runs from 11 AM to 7 PM with sunbeds and four styles of seafront cabana, Nero, Marrone, Azzuro and Aqua Marina, and the restaurant serves from 1 PM until 2 AM.
The kitchen is Mediterranean at heart. Fish and seafood arrive fresh from the boats that pull in each morning, sushi comes as maki rolls and sashimi cut from the day's fish, and a list of premium beef cuts is aged in dedicated dry-aging cabinets before it reaches the table.
Champagne sets the tone every day, with a list that adds rare and unusual bottles to the familiar houses, alongside inventive cocktails and a shisha lounge by the water.
Getting there is part of the experience: Nammos has valet parking for arrivals by car, berthing and yacht transfers for guests coming in by sea, and its own helipad for those arriving by air.
