Bourbon and Bones Chophouse and Bar is a chef-driven fine dining steakhouse on Scottsdale Road in Old Town Scottsdale, known for premium cuts, inventive seafood and a high-energy room. Service is polished, and when the weather allows, the bar opens up for open-air dining along Scottsdale Road.
The kitchen leads with beef. USDA Prime cuts sit alongside wet-aged selections and both American and Japanese Wagyu, and the signature move is the hot rock: The Devil's Cut arrives on a hot rock with a choice of Prime New York strip or Japanese A5. Beyond the grill the menu reaches for grilled octopus, a seafood tower of shrimp, lobster tail, snow crab claws and oysters, and a 40-ounce Prime tomahawk ribeye built to be shared across a big table.
The bar is the other headline. Bourbon and Bones keeps a library of more than six hundred bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches, including house barrel picks and a reserve collection, backed by cocktail, tequila and wine lists. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 pm at the bar, with the Devil's Cut hot rock, prime rib sliders and crispy calamari fries, which makes the front of the house a real pre-dinner destination.
Proper attire is required, complimentary valet keeps the arrival easy, and the North Annex dining room and patio handle larger events, with a private dining room for up to 12 guests. Reservations are highly recommended.
