Dominick's Steakhouse has been a Scottsdale Quarter fixture since 2011, and it plays the grand American steakhouse to the hilt. Set in North Scottsdale, it pairs serious USDA Prime beef with a dressed-up energy that has made it a go-to for celebrations and business dinners.
The kitchen builds around USDA Prime cuts, domestic and Japanese A5 Wagyu and dry-aged steaks, all cut in house by a master butcher, alongside chops, a well-stocked raw bar and caviar. Signatures run from the steak farina, a bone-in filet with an egg, to crispy shrimp with sweet Thai chili and garlic aioli and sides like corn creme brulee. Desserts are baked from scratch daily, led by the ultimate warm vanilla caramel cake, and the wine list runs deep, with a separate reserve list.
Upstairs, the rooftop holds the most dramatic rooms in the house: a poolside dining room set around a 30-foot pool beneath a retractable glass roof, and the adjoining Library room behind floor-to-ceiling glass. Both are reserved for private events, as are a working wine cellar room beside the bar and a private executive room.
Dinner starts at 5 PM nightly, with the bar open from 4 PM. Guests are encouraged to dress up, and collared shirts and sport coats are always appreciated. Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged.
