FnB is the quiet heavyweight of Old Town Scottsdale, the kind of room regulars guard and out-of-towners hunt down on purpose. Chef Charleen Badman and beverage director Pavle Milic opened it in 2009, tucked into Craftsman Court off 5th Avenue. The space is warm and unfussy: natural light pours through the front windows, a three-sided bar anchors the room, and a mosaic of red, yellow, green, and blue floor tiles gives an otherwise cozy space a jolt of color. Nothing here is showy, and that is the point. The focus lands on the plate and in the glass.
