Gino's East opened in 1966 when cab drivers Sam Levine and Fred Bartoli, with their friend George Loverde, set up a block off the Magnificent Mile. It became famous for two things: a golden cornmeal crust unlike any other deep dish in town, and decades of customer graffiti scrawled across the walls. This original-site Mag Mile flagship carries that history forward.
