Curtis Duffy's two-Michelin-star tasting menu restaurant on West Fulton Street
Ever sits on a quiet stretch of West Fulton Street, where chef Curtis Duffy opened his restaurant in July 2020 after the close of Grace, which earned three Michelin stars. Ever holds two Michelin stars, and the whole evening is built around a single eight- to ten-course tasting menu.
The room is serene, luxe and modern, finished in Venetian plaster with subdued lighting and tables spaced well apart, so the service can move with precision and the food takes the center. The kitchen builds its menu around proteins from land and sea and seasonal vegetables, weaving in thoughtful compositions of fruits, grains, seeds and nuts, and it changes often enough that no two visits land quite the same.
Plan on two to two and a half hours and let each course arrive at its own pace. Wine pairings built for each night's menu can be added, and wines by the bottle and glass, beer and classic cocktails are also poured. After, the come-as-you-are cocktail bar next door, welcomes walk-ins for a drink once dinner ends.
Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, by reservation only. Reservations are released two to three months ahead, typically at 9:00 AM Central on the first Tuesday of each month.
