Esco sits on Couch Place just west of the Loop, and it is a warmer room than most of the city's late-night options. The main lounge is lined in timber with a coffered, gold-lit ceiling, red leather banquettes and low tables, and planting worked into the corners. It reads closer to a supper club than a warehouse, which is the point.
The programming is Latin-led, with live DJs through the week and themed nights that fill the floor rather than the perimeter. Sparkler-led bottle presentations are a fixture, and the room takes CO2 and smoke well under its lower ceiling.
