A River North dining room lined with books and globe lighting.
Hubbard Inn's ground floor is one of the more atmospheric dining rooms in River North, built around dark timber, exposed brick, patterned tile and walls lined with books and framed artwork. Globe pendants hang low over communal tables, and a staircase runs up through the middle of the room, which gives the space height and a sense of layering unusual for the neighbourhood.
The kitchen serves elevated American food across brunch, dinner and late-night service, and the bar programme runs to the room's character rather than chasing trends. The building keeps long hours - the dining room runs from late morning through to the early hours most days, which makes it as useful for a mid-afternoon table as for a late dinner.
Several distinct seating areas work at different scales, from the communal tables through to quieter side rooms and a private dining space, so it handles both a pair and a larger group without feeling compromised.
The third floor houses MASQ, a separate nightclub open Friday and Saturday, listed separately on MyRSVP. Dining reservations are taken through the venue's own booking system.
