Pizano's Pizza & Pasta carries the Malnati deep-dish bloodline but made its name on a crust most cities never see. It opened in 1991 under Rudy Malnati Jr., son of Rudy Malnati Sr. of the original Pizzeria Uno kitchen and half-brother of Lou Malnati, and that lineage runs straight through the classic deep dish.
