I|O Godfrey is the sprawling rooftop lounge atop The Godfrey Hotel in the heart of River North, and one of the few true year-round rooftops in Chicago thanks to a state-of-the-art retractable glass roof. Roughly 15,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space blends teak decking, white lounge sofas, firepits and water features with open skyline views toward the River North high-rises, Trump Tower and the river; the roof slides open on warm nights and closes over the same space when the weather turns.
