Olive & Ivy sits on the Scottsdale Waterfront, its patio and canal-side tables among the more scenic settings in the neighborhood. Misters cool the patio through the day, and the indoor bar becomes a social hub for the Monday through Friday happy hour, 3 to 6 pm, in the bar and lounges.
The kitchen leans Mediterranean and shareable, built on seasonal produce and premium imports. The Filet of Beef and the Braised Short Rib anchor the meat side, the Atlantic Salmon and Pacific Sea Bass cover the fish, and a seafood pasta piles scallops, seabass, shrimp and mussels with black spaghetti in a Calabrian tomato broth finished with truffle butter. Bruschetta and an Olive and Ivy Sangria round out the easier, share-the-table side of the menu.
Weekend brunch adds dishes like the Crab Cake Benedict and drinks like the Infamous Espressotini to the regular menu. The restaurant runs long hours, open Sunday through Thursday 7 am to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday until 11 pm, with breakfast and marketplace service starting the day. Self-parking is available at the Nordstrom and Waterfront underground garages, with valet on Friday and Saturday nights.
