Amnesia does not need an introduction on the island, but 2026 gives it a headline anyway: fifty years since it first opened its doors in a San Rafael farmhouse back in 1976, when the dancefloor was still open to the sky. Half a century of freedom, techno and stories nobody will fully repeat in daylight. The building is really two clubs under one roof, the Terrace and the Main Room.
The Terrace, under its crystal roof, carries the minimal, tech house and house nights, while the Main Room goes full-throttle techno on parties like Pyramid on Sundays, with sets running long past sunrise. Deciding which room to live in is half the fun of the night. Metamorfosi takes Tuesdays, You&Me holds Thursdays and Glitterbox brings house and disco on Fridays.
Expect a broad, devoted crowd: purists who have been coming for decades and a younger techno wave. The club's own line is that it is run by clubbers, not an investment fund, and the nights are built for people who came to dance.
