Dinner, cabaret and a nightclub under one roof on the Marina Ibiza waterfront, facing Dalt Vila
Lio Ibiza has been on the waterfront at Marina Ibiza, on Passeig Joan Carles I, since 2011, and it runs a whole night in one room: dinner, a cabaret show and then a club. The open sides of the venue look across the port to the lights of Dalt Vila, and the stage floats above a raised pool.
This season's production is Halftime Show, a troupe of performers and acrobats who work the room, sometimes with a whisper in a guest's ear or a hand pulling someone up on stage. Tables are kept until midnight, when the room becomes Lio Club and international DJs and local residents play into the small hours, from house and Afro house to Latin house, R&B, reggaeton and classic hits.
The menu is a la carte and Mediterranean with bold touches: Oscietra, Imperial and Beluga caviar, oysters, king crab tacos, carabinero carpaccio, a red prawn suquet with clams, wild sea bass with creamy corn and crispy yuca, octopus, lamb, charcoal-grilled Angus ribeye and Wagyu striploin. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes are on the menu.
The dress code is elegant, with no swimwear, shorts, flip-flops, Birkenstocks, bare torsos or men's vests, and it is an 18+ venue where ID may be checked. Reservations are made by zone, and the team assigns the exact table within the zone a guest chooses.
