Basque-Mediterranean beach restaurant on the sand at Ses Salines, cooking over the coals
Beso Beach sits on the sand at Ses Salines, the beach inside the natural park at Ibiza's southern tip. Sand is the floor, the water in front is turquoise, and the idea began on Formentera in 2012 before crossing the water to Ses Salines.
The cooking is Basque-Mediterranean, and much of it happens over the coals. The summer 2026 menu runs from Beso mussels, oysters and red prawn croquettes to paellas and fideuas for the table, sea bass and turbot cooked whole on the grill and sold by weight, and a txuleta aged 35 days and finished in the Josper with piquillo peppers. For dessert, the homemade cheesecake comes with bergamot ice cream and almond.
Music is part of the meal here, with Beso's own resident DJs setting the soundtrack through the long afternoon. Guests arriving by boat can reach the landing service on VHF channel 76.
Reservations run in two sittings, the first from 1pm to 3:45pm and the second from 4:15pm. Children are welcome at the first sitting with an adult, and the second sitting is for guests 21 and over.
