Amante Ibiza is a cliffside restaurant and beach club built into the rock above Sol d'en Serra, a quiet cove just south of Cala Llonga on the island's east coast. Three terraced levels step down toward the water, and the view runs clear across the Mediterranean to Formentera.
The turn-off is easy to miss, which is half the appeal. The kitchen, led by chef Jordi Tomas Ribas, cooks seasonal Mediterranean food built around the daily catch, Josper-grilled meats, and vegetables from the restaurant's own garden. Fresh fish, grilled octopus, and traditional Spanish rice dishes anchor a menu that shifts through the summer.
Owned since 2009 by David Piccione of the Azuli Records house-music label, Amante pairs a rustic, natural look with a polished, grown-up crowd. Days here run long: lunch on the rocks, an afternoon swim off the cove, then dinner as the light drops behind the cliffs.
