The reference at Chinois was immediate when it opened in 2022: the glamorous jazz clubs of 1930s Shanghai, reimagined by the Parisian design studio Laleh Assefi. It occupies the former Heart Ibiza space inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel on Marina Botafoch and trades on intimacy where others trade on scale.
