Au Pied de Cochon is a Parisian brasserie transplanted whole into Polanco, occupying the ground floor of the InterContinental Presidente on Campos Eliseos. The original opened in the Les Halles market district of Paris in 1947 and fed market workers around the clock; Grupo Presidente brought the concept to Mexico City in 2000 and kept the most important part of it, which is that the kitchen never closes. Twenty-four hours, three hundred and sixty-five days.
