Masaryk terrace built around the carajillo
Carajillo Masaryk is the Polanco flagship of Grupo Carajillo, set inside the Rubaiyat building at the top of Avenida Presidente Masaryk. The concept is named after the coffee and liqueur drink that Mexico City adopted as its own, and the bar treats it as a category rather than a single recipe, pouring the classic alongside variations built on rabbit shaped Turin bottles, horchata and strawberry, cherry and churro, plus a premium mixology list.
The kitchen fuses Mexican ingredients with Asian technique. The dish people come back for is the tlacoyo of blue corn with escamoles over pressed chicharron, and the crossover plates are the other half of the menu: spring rolls served with soy and a hit of orange juice, teriyaki marinated fillet off the robata, and rib eye sushi with foie gras.
