Lampuga is named after a Pacific current, and the restaurant on Anatole France in Polanco has spent years selling that idea: cold wine, a long terrace and fish that tastes like it arrived that morning.
The kitchen builds around seasonal catch handled with technique and a light hand. The crab cake is the dish regulars order without reading, and the tuna tostadas, the spicy shrimp pasta, the jaiba teriyaki and a milanesa cantinera for the table round out the list.
