38th-floor Sofitel terrace over the Angel and Reforma
Cityzen sits on the thirty-eighth floor of the Sofitel tower on Paseo de la Reforma, and the view is the reason to come. The terrace looks straight down the length of Reforma with the Angel de la Independencia lit directly below, Chapultepec Castle on its hill to the west, and the Torre Mayor and Torre Reforma stacked in glass on either side. Floor-to-ceiling glass wraps the indoor lounge, so the sightlines hold even when the wind picks up.
The room splits between that interior lounge, all low seating and warm light, and an open-air terrace along the edge. It is a hotel rooftop, not a club, and the crowd shifts from Reforma office tables at sunset to a dressed-up dinner crowd after nine.
The kitchen turns out elevated, sustainably sourced small plates alongside a full breakfast service in the morning, with the bar built around elevated mixology.
