La Palme d'Or is chef Jean Imbert's gastronomic restaurant inside the Hotel Martinez at 73 Boulevard de la Croisette. It reopened as Jean Imbert's restaurant on May 14, 2024, the opening day of that year's Cannes Film Festival, the day after the festival jury gathered there, and it holds one Michelin star in the 2026 guide. Chef Christophe Nannoni runs the kitchen with head pastry chef Loic Voron.
Designer Remi Tessier drew on vintage yacht interiors from the 1930s to the 1960s, with the bar a nod to the Christina O. Wood paneling lines the room, film posters and scripts annotated by cinema legends are displayed throughout, and a monumental chandelier reworking the Palme d'Or trophy hangs over the great jury table. La Cabine du Chef, a hidden room, can be booked privately.
The cooking centers on Mediterranean fish, served raw or grilled over wood, and the menu is written as a film script. Guests order a la carte or choose the three-scene Short Film at 160 euros or the five-scene Feature Film at 240 euros. The current script runs from octopus and tuna belly cooked over embers with piquillo peppers to steamed John Dory with pickled chanterelles, spiny lobster grilled over embers and flambeed with cognac, and a whole roasted scorpion fish for two served in two courses.
Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and until 10 p.m. in July and August. Elegant attire is required; sportswear, shorts and flip-flops are not permitted.
