Le Maschou occupies a former fishermen's cave at 15 Rue Saint-Antoine in Le Suquet, and it has been a fixture of Cannes dining since 1963, when Jean Brialy and Gerard Fery opened it as a wood-fired grill celebrating Provencal tradition. It is now helmed by Emmanuel Viotti.
The intimate space channels old-world charm through exposed stone walls, rustic wooden furniture, silver candlesticks, and a wood-burning fireplace that anchors the dining room in soft, flickering light. Service includes a rose for female diners, and the house holds firm to its no-fuss traditions.
