La Guerite · Dayclub · Cannes
A boat-access beach restaurant on Ile Sainte-Marguerite, welcoming guests since 1902.
Temporarily closed for the season. La Guerite reopens on May 1, 2027. The hours below are the normal schedule.
La Guerite sits on a rocky cove of Ile Sainte-Marguerite, across the bay from Cannes, and the only way there is by boat. Guests take the shuttle boat from the Capitainerie at Port Canto, and during the Cannes Film Festival the shuttle leaves from Moure Rouge. The restaurant has welcomed guests to the island since 1902.
The setting covers 1,000 square meters across a restaurant, a lounge and a beach of more than 400 square meters of sand lined with sunbeds, all looking back over the entire Bay of Cannes. It opens every day from May to September, from noon to 6 p.m.
The kitchen belongs to Athens-born chef Yiannis Kioroglou, who cooks between the oven, charcoal and barbecue and leans on aromatic herbs and marinades. The current menu runs from hummus, homemade tarama and sea bass ceviche to whole fish from the charcoal oven, whole grilled lobster, lobster pasta and lemon baby chicken, and most plates pass through that charcoal oven.
The day here is a long island lunch by the water and an afternoon on the sunbeds before the shuttle back to Port Canto. Tell us the day and your group size, and our Cannes partner will arrange the daybed or table.

Frequently asked about La Guerite
How do I reserve a daybed or cabana at La Guerite?
Daybeds and cabanas at La Guerite sell in tiers, and the best placements go to groups who book ahead. Submit the reservation request on this page and our Cannes partner confirms your table, quotes any minimum spend in writing, and coordinates arrival before you commit.
What is the minimum spend at La Guerite?
Minimum spend at La Guerite varies by date, by tier (front-row cabana vs daybed), and by whether it is a food or a bottle minimum. Rather than a figure that shifts through the season, MyRSVP quotes your exact minimum in writing when confirming, so there are no surprises on arrival.
What is the dress code at La Guerite?
La Guerite is upscale Cannes beach-club style: resort wear and swimwear with a cover-up by day, moving to smarter resort-chic as the afternoon program builds. MyRSVP confirms any current door specifics with your booking.
How far in advance should I book La Guerite?
For peak dates the prime tiers at La Guerite are typically allocated weeks ahead. Book as early as you can; if you are inside that window MyRSVP checks live availability and secures the best remaining placement.
