La Plage du Martinez is the private beach of the Hotel Martinez, at 73 Boulevard de la Croisette. Its dining room and sunlit terrace take their cue from yachting, in terracotta and navy blue tones that recall the Mediterranean, and the terrace looks straight out to sea.
The beach club runs every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with sun loungers dressed in striped fabrics, open sea views and a cocktail menu served on the sand. Sunbeds are limited in number, and the beach asks guests to reserve ahead.
Lunch is served daily from noon to 4 p.m. The kitchen works with local producers and seasonal produce, and the menu traces a tour of the Riviera: pissaladiere and Nicoise socca, octopus carpaccio with Provencal vinaigrette, gamberoni risotto, octopus and gambas skewers from the charcoal grill, grilled local fish and royal spiny lobster sold by weight, and Colbert sea bass from the oven. Golden imperial caviar is offered to start.
