Annex Beach sits on the Croisette directly across the boulevard from the Carlton. By day it is an Italian beach restaurant with sunbeds on the sand, open from 10 a.m.; by night it becomes an open-air stage, with the restaurant serving until 2 a.m. It is where a Cannes day on the beach turns, without moving, into the evening's entertainment.
The interiors are by Jacques Garcia, inspired by the grottoes of Isola Bella, all baroque detail and play of light. On top of that, the club is dressed by Roberto Cavalli in a multi-year partnership, the house prints running across the sofas, cushions, beach towels and tableware.
The kitchen is Italian, rooted in nonna recipes, with a menu designed by chef Gennaro Esposito, who holds two Michelin stars at Torre del Saracino, and cooked daily by chef Gabriele Faiella and his team. Expect vitello tonnato, lobster tacos, spaghetti alle vongole and the Plateau Annex of prawns, langoustines and oysters.
The rhythm runs from beach and Italian lunch into the dinner show, which plays every night until mid-September; the 2026 show is PLAISIR, the latest in a run of Annex productions after Moon, Aqua and Elysium.
