Annex Beach is the most theatrical beach club on the Croisette, directly across the boulevard from the Carlton. By day it is an Italian beach-restaurant with sunbeds on the sand; by night it becomes an open-air stage. The interiors are by Jacques Garcia, reportedly his only seaside project, inspired by the grottoes of Isola Bella, all baroque detail, sculpted vaulted ceilings and play of light. On top of that, the club is dressed head to toe by Roberto Cavalli in a multi-year partnership, the 2025 season returning to the house's signature zebra print across the towels, cushions and tableware.
It is a fashion-house beach club with a serious kitchen: the food is Italian, rooted in nonna recipes, under two-Michelin-star chef Gennaro Esposito, with a summer menu by Riccardo Cuccurullo. The rhythm runs from beach and Italian lunch by day into SOLAR at night, an immersive dinner-show of contemporary dance, aerial and circus arts and an electro-Mediterranean soundtrack staged by Garcia, the latest in a run of Annex shows after Moon, Aqua and Elysium.
