A third-floor River North room reached by a staircase modelled on the London Underground.
Tunnel occupies the third floor of a River North building whose Kinzie Street entrance gives almost nothing away. The door sits between two storefronts, and behind it a staircase runs up through a passage built to echo the tiled tunnels of the London Underground. The approach is deliberate, and it sets the tone before the room is even in view.
The space itself is driven by light. Banks of LED tube work line the ceiling and fall in curtains behind the seating, cycling from deep blue through magenta as the night progresses, so the room reads differently at midnight than it does at close. The floor stays open for dancing while table seating is set along the edges, which keeps groups close to the action without losing their own footprint.
Programming runs Thursday through Sunday and shifts character across the week, from Latin-leaning Thursdays to open-format Friday and Saturday nights and a slower Sunday session. The club opened in 2015 and has held its place in the River North rotation since.
Bottle service is how groups are seated. Our Chicago team can arrange a table and advise which night suits the group you are bringing.

Frequently asked about Tunnel
How do I book a table at Tunnel in Chicago?
Submit the reservation request on this page and our Chicago team confirms your table, quotes any minimum spend in writing, and coordinates arrival before you commit. Your host opens the door on arrival so you walk straight to a ready table.
How much is a table at Tunnel?
A table at Tunnel depends on the night (weekends and event dates price highest), your group size, and where the table sits relative to the DJ booth and dance floor. Rather than a price that changes weekly, our Chicago team quotes your exact minimum spend in writing when confirming, so you know the cost before you arrive.
What is the dress code at Tunnel?
Tunnel keeps an upscale nightlife dress code: stylish, dressed-up attire. Avoid athletic wear, gym shoes, and overly casual looks. Your host manages the door with your table, and we confirm the current policy with your booking.
What time should I arrive at Tunnel?
Table guests generally arrive as the room fills, with the peak on weekends. Your MyRSVP host coordinates a specific arrival window so you are not waiting in line.
