Azure Beach runs the beachfront at Rixos Premium Dubai on Jumeirah Beach Residence, and the setting does most of the work. A stretch of private sand faces the Gulf, with Bluewaters Island and the Ain Dubai wheel filling the view straight ahead.
The property splits into three parts. The main pool sits at the center, temperature-controlled and ringed by daybeds and white umbrellas under palms. Behind it runs a row of private cabanas, each with its own plunge pool, so it pays to book ahead. The beach itself continues down to the water with loungers set directly in the sand, and a separate adults-only pool area handles the louder end of the afternoon.
Azure Lounge covers the food across an indoor room and a shaded terrace, working a seaside and Pan Asian menu, and the shisha terrace stays busy from late afternoon onward.
The character changes across the day. Mornings and early afternoons are genuinely relaxed, and this is one of the few beach clubs in Dubai that still works if you are bringing family. From late afternoon the music comes up, a resident DJ takes over, and the sunset over the Gulf turns the terrace into the busiest part of the property.
