Gigi Rigolatto sets 120 indoor seats and wide terraces along J1 Beach at La Mer, wrapped around a sinuous pool ringed with striped cabanas named for Italian islands, Ischia and Ponza among them, with sunbeds scattered beneath bougainvillea. The look pulls straight from the St. Tropez lineage of the original Gigi, rendered here in terracotta urns, oleander cascades, and a private beach strand that runs right to the water. A concept store on site stocks 40 brands of seaside goods.
