Mamabella is an Italian restaurant on the ground floor of Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai, on The Boulevard across from Dubai Opera in Downtown Dubai. Chef Alessandro Miceli built the concept around his childhood in Sicily, and each month a different Italian grandmother flies in to cook her own recipes at the restaurant's twelve-seat Mamma Studio table.
The dining room runs an indoor-outdoor layout with an open kitchen at its center, so guests can watch pasta rolled by hand each morning and pizza go into the wood-fired oven, with seating that carries through to a terrace.
Named dishes on the current menu include Costoletta alla Milanese, Fettuccine with lobster, Tortelli al Tartufo, Spaghettoni alla Norma, Cacio e Pepe, and Carpaccio Wagyu, alongside a dedicated caviar menu that runs from fritelle e caviale to risotto e caviale.
Mamabella opens daily from noon, with a three-course Business Lunch at AED 145 served 12 pm to 4 pm and a Cin-Cin Aperitivo happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 pm. Reservations run through Mamabella's own SevenRooms page, and the Mamma Studio table is worth asking about when booking, since the visiting grandmother's seating is limited to twelve.
