Best Restaurants in Medellin 2026
Our ranked guide to the best restaurants in Medellin for 2026, from Elcielo's tasting menu to the wagyu-and-DJ scene at Salvaje, all in El Poblado.
Why we wrote this guide
Medellin has become one of Latin America's most exciting places to eat. In a few blocks of El Poblado, and Provenza in particular, you can go from a multisensory tasting menu to a wagyu-and-sushi party room, a wood-fire steakhouse, a Peruvian ceviche bar, a Greek table, and a mountaintop dining room with the whole valley below. This is our ranked guide to the best restaurants in Medellin for 2026, the rooms worth planning a night around. Each one links to its own page with the current booking details.

Where they are
Almost everything above sits in El Poblado, and specifically the Provenza and Parque Lleras blocks, which is also where the city's nightlife lives. A few, like Simah and Colosal, sit up on the Las Palmas hillside for the view. That makes it easy to line up a tasting-menu dinner and a rooftop or a club in the same night: see the best rooftop bars in Medellin and, if you are in town for the festival, the EDC Colombia guide.
How to book
Many of these restaurants take reservations on OpenTable or their own platform (Precompro, Meitre, Cluvi), linked straight from each venue page. Tell us your date and group size on the Medellin restaurants page and we point you to the right booking.
