Cipriani Ibiza sits inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel at Marina Botafoch, the yacht harbor that faces Ibiza Town and the floodlit ramparts of Dalt Vila across the water. It is the island outpost of the Cipriani family, whose story begins at Harry's Bar in Venice in 1931.
The menu is the group's Venetian canon, largely unchanged for decades: beef carpaccio alla Cipriani, white tagliolini gratinati with ham, risotto alla primavera, and the peach Bellini that was first poured at Harry's Bar. Service is formal, unhurried, and deliberately old-school.
The room draws a moneyed, dressed-up crowd, many arriving by tender from the yachts moored steps away. It suits a long lunch by the marina or a late, candlelit dinner just as well.
