Roaring-twenties Spanish glamour on the Playa d'en Bossa seafront
TATEL Ibiza brings a full-blown 1920s supper-club fantasy to the Playa d'en Bossa seafront. It occupies the ground floor of the big beachfront hotel now trading as BLESS Ibiza The Site, formerly the Hard Rock Hotel, with plush red banquettes, dark-green and copper columns, and mirrors on every wall.
The kitchen turns out modern Spanish classics: Iberico ham cut to order, sea bass ceviche, Ibicenc lobster, truffled semolina risotto, and salt-crusted sea bass. It is generous, polished, and built for sharing across a long table.
What sets TATEL apart is the show. A raised stage runs live bands and DJs through the night, and dinner slides into a music-and-cocktails party as the room heats up. The crowd dresses for it. The brand, whose backers include Rafael Nadal and Enrique Iglesias, also has restaurants in Madrid, Miami, and Beverly Hills.
It is a summer venue, open across the Ibiza season, with a terrace looking over the beach toward Formentera. Come for dinner and stay for the set.
