Villa Mercedes occupies a blue-shuttered Ibicencan villa built in 1901, set on the edge of the San Antonio marina where the island's famous sunsets drop straight into the sea. A restaurant since 1999 and now part of the Cafe Mambo group, it spreads across gardens, terraces and candlelit corners that look out over the moored yachts.
The cooking is contemporary Mediterranean under Argentine chef Ivan Acquista: fresh fish and seafood, signature rice dishes, grilled octopus with smashed potatoes, huevos rotos, and a run of seasonal tapas built for sharing. Cocktails and Spanish wine keep the tables long.
