Jewel opened at Aria in May 2016 in the space Haze had occupied, redesigned from the ground up by Rockwell Group. The venue is about 24,000 square feet and holds close to two thousand people across two levels: the main club and a mezzanine above it.
The room is built around light. More than 1,400 square feet of LED ribbon crowns the circular dome ceiling above the dance floor and pulses with the music, and the DJ booth is set against the Dreamwall, a production wall of dual-sided LED screens and effects lighting. Five themed skybox suites circle the mezzanine, each placed to look straight down on the dance floor, and vintage parquet and tufted banquettes fill out the rest of the club.
Reservable areas include the owners tables, the prime dance floor, the dance floor, the stage, the 2nd tier and the 3rd and 4th tiers, along with a handful of others. A minimum spend is the food and beverage minimum you commit to ordering, with tax, venue fee and gratuity added on top. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and the night typically runs until around 4 a.m.
