Delilah is a supper club at 7969 Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, a modern take on the roaring '20s that opened in October 2016. John Sofio of Built Inc. designed the room with dazzling chandeliers, plush seating, a tiled fireplace, and wood and gold touches throughout, and the Art Deco details set the mood from the moment you walk in.
The kitchen sticks to American classics with refined edges. Chicken Tenders come with house bbq, buttermilk ranch and Zab's hot honey ($29), and the Lobster Rolls are served on brioche with pickled celery and tarragon aioli ($33). Tony's Famous Baby Back Ribs, a Carrot Souffle made from the original Chasen's recipe, and an 8 oz Creekstone Farms filet mignon ($77) with truffle butter, port wine jus or au poivre show the range, and a 32 oz Australian wagyu tomahawk is there for the table.
The cocktail list runs from house classics like the Spicy Siena and JoJo to Delilah signatures such as Champagne Papi and The Strip, Tease. The Millionaire Martini is stretched with Dom Perignon and served with a bump of Kaluga caviar.
After dinner the room turns. Live performers and surprise acts take over, a troupe of entertainers dances to a live jazz band, and the night moves from dining to drinks and dancing, with a late-night menu of burgers, tenders and caviar. Dress is upscale casual chic, with collared shirts recommended. Delilah opens at 6:30pm Tuesday through Sunday and is closed on Mondays.
