L'Opera sits at the Residence du Port in Saint-Tropez, a white-and-gold room that serves lunch and dinner, stages shows through the evening and carries on late in its intimate private club. From the terrace the view runs across the port and its yachts to the pink stone of the old town and its bell tower.
Inside, immaculate sofas sit among sculptural vases and light fixtures, and the walls carry the bold, provocative photographs of contemporary artist Philippe Shangti. After dark, dancers and artists take turns performing on the central tables, which are arranged like podiums, so the shows play out in the middle of the dining room.
The kitchen is contemporary French with the sunny character of Provence and flavors from around the world. The September 2026 menu opens with a seafood crudo of spiced oyster, sea urchin and langoustine at 56 euros and wild shrimp dim sum in mushroom broth at 48 euros. Mains include prawns in a coconut-milk broth with jasmine rice at 56 euros, miso-caramelized black cod with pak choi at 78 euros and a satay-roasted free-range chicken breast at 48 euros, with king crab and caviar alongside.
