Bar Bellustar · Rooftop Bar · Tokyo

The main bar of Bellustar Tokyo, on the 45th floor of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku.
Bar Bellustar is the main bar of Bellustar Tokyo, a Pan Pacific Hotel, on the 45th floor of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku. It opened with the hotel in May 2023, and its drinks are built on fruit, vegetables and herbs from selected farms, Japanese craft spirits and bottles from around the world.
The bar is an indoor room of 58 seats, about 200 meters above the ground, with night views over Shinjuku. Beverage director Shigeki Yoshida leads the program, and the menu is written for spectacle, with drinks that carry an element of theater and preparation handled as live performance.
The house gin, GOTOGIN Bellustar, was developed by Yoshida with Goto Tsubaki Distillery on the Goto Islands of Nagasaki. It blends 21 base spirits distilled from 18 botanicals around camellia fruit, with juniper, Goto black tea and sansho pepper, and is poured straight, on the rocks or in a gimlet or martini. The Timeless Delight plan pairs a course with free-flowing drinks, and its Platinum version adds a Japanese craft selection that includes the hotel's own sake, aged sake, Japanese whisky and craft gin. Bellustar Journey sets match a drink from the bartenders with a dish from the chef.
The bar opens at 5pm on weekdays and at 1:30pm on weekends and public holidays, and closes at midnight, with last orders at 11:30pm. The dress code is smart casual.
