Chef Antoine Darquin's gastro wine bar on Soi Langsuan, a two-minute walk from Chit Lom
Bisou - French for kiss - is chef Antoine Darquin's gastro wine bar on Soi Langsuan, a two-minute walk from Chit Lom and the leafy edge of Lumphini Park. It has held a spot in the Michelin Guide's Selected list for 2025 and 2026, and its concept is built around sharing: French technique loosened up with global, largely Asian accents and plated to pass around the table.
The room is a talking point in its own right, built around a sixty-seat dining room and a signature kiss wall of cinematic panels behind the banquette seating, with an upstairs private room for smaller groups. The mood is deliberately playful, not reverent.
The cooking is modern French at heart, opened up with Japanese and other Asian touches, and designed to be shared at the table instead of guarded on a single plate. With sommelier Theo Lavergne steering the pairings, the wine program is as much the draw as the food, and the two are meant to be worked through together.
Bisou is one of the city's most enjoyable places to eat serious French cooking without the formality - a proper date-night room. Book ahead for an evening table, and lean into the by-the-glass pairings.
