More approachable of the French rooms at the Four Seasons Bangkok on the Chao Phraya
Brasserie Palmier is the more approachable of the French rooms at the Four Seasons Bangkok on the Chao Phraya, sitting beside one of the city's oldest seafood markets and leaning fully into that setting. The menu is fish-forward and lighter than a classic Paris brasserie, built for the tropics and for long riverside afternoons and evenings.
A live oyster and wine bar takes center stage, surrounded by tropical foliage, with a choice of cool indoor tables or breezy outdoor seating along the water. It keeps the easy spirit of a brasserie while feeling distinctly of its riverside location, not simply transplanted from Europe.
The kitchen carries serious pedigree: chef Guillaume Galliot earned three Michelin stars at Caprice in Hong Kong, and he brings that precision to seafood towers, bright tartares, daily plats du jour and, of course, the sweet and savory palmiers the room takes its name from.
Choose it when you want something generous and unhurried, not a full tasting-menu commitment - a leisurely lunch or an early dinner by the river. Book a terrace table for the water view, and let the oyster bar set the pace.
