Coda holds one Michelin star for contemporary Thai cooking inside the Sindhorn Building on Wireless Road.
Coda earned its first Michelin star in 2025 for contemporary Thai cooking, served inside the Sindhorn Building on Wireless Road. The kitchen is led by chef Tap Supasit Kokpol, whose path ran from his family's seafood restaurant in Thailand to more than a decade cooking in Australia, and that dual perspective shapes a restrained, quietly confident style.
This is Thai fine dining built on clarity, not fireworks. Dishes are developed over weeks to balance the soul of local recipes with modern technique - visually understated, tastefully layered, and grounded in Thai sensibilities while staying open to new ideas. The tasting menu is the way in, a considered progression instead of a greatest-hits parade.
The food rewards attention: precise seasoning, clean plating and a through-line of Thai flavor that never gets buried under technique. It is forward-looking without being showy, the work of a chef more interested in getting the balance exactly right than in chasing spectacle.
It suits adventurous diners who want their Thai cooking modern and precise, in a calm, contemporary room away from the tourist circuit. Book ahead for the tasting menu, and come willing to follow the kitchen's lead through a menu that shifts as the seasons and the chef's ideas move.
