Duet by David Toutain · Restaurant · Bangkok
Duet is David Toutain's Bangkok debut, a 32-seat glasshouse at the Ritz-Carlton in One Bangkok.
Duet is the Bangkok debut of David Toutain, the Paris chef whose eponymous restaurant holds two Michelin stars and a Green Star for sustainability. It opened in early 2025 as one of that year's most anticipated arrivals, on the 7th floor of the Ritz-Carlton within the new One Bangkok district, opposite Lumphini Park - and debuted at number 16 on BK's Top Tables 2026.
The setting is a glasshouse with an outdoor terrace, and at just 32 seats it is intimate by design. Light, greenery and glass give it an airy, garden-like calm rare for a fine-dining room at this address in the city.
Run day to day by chef de cuisine Valentin Fouache, formerly of Blue by Alain Ducasse, the kitchen follows Toutain's plant-forward, nature-led style. Seasonal tasting menus are creative and delicate, balancing land and sea with an emphasis on traceable, well-sourced ingredients - contemporary French at its most thoughtful.
It is one of the marquee new arrivals on the city's fine-dining map, pitched squarely at an occasion. With so few seats and a set-menu format, this is a reserve-well-ahead room; allow a full evening for the progression.
