GOAT - full name The Goat, Greatest Of All Time - is a one-Michelin-star restaurant on Ekamai 10 that also holds a Michelin Green Star for sustainability, a rare double for a room this personal. Chef Pakorn "Tan" Kosiyapon opened it in late 2020 and has since built it into one of Bangkok's most distinctive contemporary tables.
The setting is a restored Sino-Portuguese townhouse, its architecture nodding to the colonial shophouses of Phuket, Phang Nga and Penang while folding in traditional Thai elements. The result is intimate and characterful, a world away from the hotel-tower fine dining that dominates the city, with a rooftop garden growing herbs and edible flowers overhead.
