Saawaan - the word means 'heaven' in Thai - is chef Sujira 'Aom' Pongmorn's one-Michelin-star modern Thai restaurant in the Suan Phlu lanes of Sathorn. Since opening in 2018 it has become one of the city's defining new-Thai tables, and Chef Aom one of the most celebrated women cooking in Bangkok.
