Sushi Saito Bangkok is the sister branch of Takashi Saito's Tokyo original
Sushi Saito Bangkok is the sister branch of Takashi Saito's celebrated Tokyo original, one of Japan's most revered sushi houses, set on the Chao Phraya riverfront at Four Seasons Bangkok in Charoenkrung. Awarded a Michelin star in the 2026 Thailand guide, it carries that formidable lineage across the water to Thailand and ranks among the hardest sushi seats in the city.
The counter is a pale hinoki-wood run facing an open kitchen, understated and precise, so the focus stays entirely on the craft in front of you. It is a purist's room, built for quiet concentration and nothing else.
The team works in the Edomae style, applying Edo-period techniques to fresh seafood flown in from Japan several times a week. The Akita rice is cooked with exacting care for temperature and moisture and dispatched in small batches so each piece reaches you at its peak. Nothing is rushed and nothing is incidental.
This is a benchmark table for serious sushi devotees, and the seats are scarce. Book as far ahead as you can, arrive promptly for the seating, and place yourself in the chef's hands for a meal defined by discipline and detail.
