SAN Beach occupies a stretch of Palm West Beach on Palm Jumeirah, inside The Club, a beachfront development built by Nakheel. It opened April 14, 2022, pairing a full restaurant with a beach and pool club booked as two separate visits. The name draws on the San people of southern Africa, an idea the venue frames as presence and connection carried through art and design.
The space splits into three areas: an indoor restaurant with an open kitchen, an infinity pool with a submerged bar, and a beach laid with imported white sand. Semi-circular windows face the water, with views toward Ain Dubai and Dubai Marina. Beach seating ranges from sunbeds and sofas to floating cabanas, beach cabanas, and a six-guest beach villa.
The kitchen runs a seafood- and wagyu-heavy menu: a raw bar of Kelly and Dibba Bay oysters and Oscietra caviar, tartare and ceviche plates, then mains built around Japanese Miyazaki A5 wagyu striploin (marble score 11+), a charcoal-grilled wagyu tomahawk, and a whole Maine lobster pasta with Amalfi lemon. The sushi program adds a SAN maki roll of yellowtail, tuna, salmon and caviar, plus seafood and truffle risottos.
Reservations run through SevenRooms, split between a no-entry-fee restaurant table and a paid pool or beach pass with no time limit once arrived. DJ sets and weekend live music run through the day into the evening, and entry carries a minimum age of 16. Hours run 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday-Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday-Saturday.
